No new posts Rare species of birds in Taita

Who says we do not have some beautiful tourists attractions apart from our great Tsavo which we share with out Kamba brothers?
Though our government has not marketed bird watching as a huge tourist attraction, many countries like south africa have benefited alot from bird watching tourism. The many rare birds species that many pay millions to get a glimpse of are in our great taita land.
Come to think of it when I was growing up there were so many species of birds that we took for granted that can actually lift our dawida if someone decides to market it.
Those species are found in the forests and biologists are worried that they are amongst endangered species.Soon these birds will be gone.
I think it is our duty as wadawida to protect these birds and hopefully we can start marketing dawida as a bird watching attraction.
Birds like mwangalanga are very rare.
Let us protect and benefit from the birds.

No new posts Unique Places in dawida

Admitting that Dawida is a beautiful place is an understatement. Taita rocks. I know of this very beautiful place in Mgange Nyika. When you stand right at the peak of mgange and view Nyika, the scenery for Nyika from Mgange is magnificent. I do not think I have ever seen such a view.
And there is this water fall in place called Ikonde(my grand ma's home). The waterfall was lovely. The river was called Kighononyi.Though I haven't had time to go back again, I still have the memories in my head..I believe there are many unique places in dawida...name them
